Male Sexual Function Optimization
Most men wait two or three years before getting help with erectile function. That's not stubbornness — it's the way this stuff works. It's private, it's tied up with identity, and the options most people know about don't feel like real solutions. The P-Shot™ is different. It uses your own blood — concentrated and reinjected — to restore the tissue and vascular function that drive erections. No pills every time. No surgery. No implants.
Who This Helps
The Science
Erectile dysfunction is most commonly a vascular and neurological problem — the tissue doesn't receive adequate blood flow, and nerve signaling is impaired. Platelet-rich plasma contains concentrated growth factors that promote new blood vessel formation (angiogenesis), improve nerve conduction, and stimulate tissue regeneration in the treated area.
The P-Shot™ protocol, developed by Dr. Charles Runels, delivers PRP via direct injection into the corpus cavernosum — the erectile tissue. The protocol includes specific methods for PRP preparation, activation, and injection technique that distinguish it from generic PRP injections.
The P-Shot™ vs. Generic PRP
Not all PRP injections are the same. The P-Shot™ is a trademarked protocol with specific requirements for PRP preparation, activation, injection site, volume, and technique — developed and refined by Dr. Charles Runels over a decade of clinical use and research. A provider injecting PRP into the penis without this training and certification is not performing the P-Shot™. When you see the name, verify the provider is listed on the official directory at pshot.info.
The Procedure
A small amount of blood is drawn — similar to a standard lab test.
Your blood is centrifuged using the Health Canada-approved MD Biologix system to concentrate the platelets and growth factors.
A topical anaesthetic cream is applied to the penis and allowed 25+ minutes to take full effect. Most men are surprised — the procedure is far more comfortable than anticipated.
PRP is injected into the corpus cavernosum and glans per the Runels protocol. The injection takes only a few minutes.
Post-procedure instructions are reviewed. No recovery period. Follow-up is at 4–6 weeks to assess response.

Candidacy
Peyronie's Disease
Peyronie's disease — fibrous plaque causing penile curvature, pain, or shortening — affects approximately 1 in 10 men and is significantly underdiagnosed because men don't report it. The P-Shot™ PRP protocol is used specifically for Peyronie's because PRP's growth factors promote tissue remodeling and fibroblast activity in the plaque itself. Combined with GAINSwave® shockwave therapy — which mechanically disrupts fibrous plaque — the combination approach is the most comprehensive non-surgical option currently available for Peyronie's. Results depend on the stage and severity of the disease; Shannon will give you an honest assessment of what is realistic for your specific situation before you commit to treatment.
Integrated Approach
ED is rarely just one thing. Vascular health, hormones, nervous system function, and pelvic floor all play a role. We frequently combine the P-Shot™ with:
